Youth Hostel Tresor

Hostel Tresor is the best example of how a grey and rigid home of bankers can be transformed into a lively and urban international environment. The secession building from the beginning of the 20th century has received a new breath of life with the establishment of Tresor, two lively common areas are the heart of Hostel Tresor - the high atrium area with a sky ceiling is at its most vibrant during daylight hours while the former bank vault in the basement comes into its own in the evening.

No keys are needed to access the Tresor, rooms are opened by card, pendant or bracelet. Our 105-person capacity is distributed into 29 rooms, named after world currencies. Hostel Tresor offers free Wi-Fi access throughout the premises. Dorms have been rearranged into several smaller “vaults” to offer guests a degree of intimacy in line with the character of Tresor.

The Tresor Hostel is situated in the heart of Ljubljana town centre, at 38 Čopova street, a mere step away from the Prešeren Square, Three Bridges, Dragon Bridge or Ljubljana Castle. In direct vicinity of the hostel you can explore a number of boutique stores, enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables at the market, have a drink in a number of coffee shops and bars lining the banks of the Ljubljanica, visit theatres, museums, galleries or explore the night life in Ljubljana.
