Youth Hostel Krško

Youth Hotel Krško is based on the right bank of the Sava river just 1.4km from the main bus and train stations in Krško. It is part of the Youth Centre Krško, specifically, it is based in the attic of the said building. The location of the Youth Hotel offers visitors fast access to the town's centre where they can enjoy local sightseeing (the town’s museum, library…) or just a casual walk in the town's park. Visitors of the Youth Hotel Krško have free parking at their disposal and there is a sports court located just across the road from the hotel where they can partake in leisure activities, such as basketball, football, volleyball or other sports.

Youth Hotel Krško can accommodate visitors of all ages and is accessible by wheelchair with an appropriate ramp, a lift and washroom facilities. The Youth Hotel offers a wide range of accommodation, such as a 3-, 4-, 8- and 9-bed rooms, and two separate apartments that can accommodate up to 6 people, altogether making the hotel suitable for 30 people with the option of adding extra beds in the rooms. Self-serving breakfast is also available at the Youth Hotel upon additional payment of 3.50 euros.

The Youth Hotel aspires to make its guests feel as comfortable as possible during their stay in Krško. That being said, the hotel is equipped with a brand-new kitchen area with all necessary appliances, separate toilet and shower areas, a living room with a flat-screen TV and free internet access. All rooms have AC and personal cupboards with a key for storing clothes and other valuables. The hotel also has a laundry room where guests can wash and dry their clothes at any time.

After the renovation, the Youth Centre gained new facilities in order to host and organise different events and activities, such as concerts, lectures, workshops, music productions and film making.

The building also has a fully functioning bar where one can enjoy different types of coffee, tea and other drinks while sitting on the terrace in front of the Youth Centre reading a broad selection of local and international newspapers. In the summer, a wooden area next to the sports court is available to anyone who wants to relax in the hammocks while listening to good music or just hang around with friends in a cosy environment with a great view of the Sava river.
