I'm Ida (by the way, I love my name!).
A traveller. An adventurer. An ethnologist. Someone who loves Africa, bachata, documentaries, the moon, sunbathing, sweets, second-hand sweaters, rings, falafel and hippy vans.
The greatest compliment I’ve ever got was when my friend named me Alma Ida II. Alma Ida Wilibalda Maximiliana Karlin, the world traveller and writer, is my great inspiration.
I love discovering the world’s less touristy spots where I can learn about the locals and discover their culture. I’m interested in various ethnic groups, nomads, migrations, crisis hit areas and humanitarian projects.
In my travel articles, I’ll write about my interesting, unusual and sometimes funny adventures from my journeys.
