Petra Kosi has always been in love with books and movies that had an element of adventures in the story. No wonder she wanted to be a female "Indiana Jones" for quite some time. She believes that this was also the reason why she subconsciously chose to study a major that was going to allow her to turn the stories to reality. She made her first traveling steps while traveling with her family around Europe and North Africa and this is how she discovered the passion for exploring the world.
While she was studying Sinology and Comparative Literature she was awarded with a year long language scholarship through which she was able to travel to China. She believes this was an extraordinary moment in her life that changed her life forever. After graduating, she decided to return to China and enrol in Masters programme for Environmental Management and Sustainable Development in Shanghai. While living in China she often took some time off and travelled to nearby countries - Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam. Here she also discovered the beauty of underwater world while diving and fell in love with it.
Life in China enabled her to gain worthy experiences in the field of marketing since she was working in marketing department in Gorenje subsidiary in Shanghaj for almost three years. That gave her good insight in business world and international communication. With the rich experience, she returned to Europe where she is currently looking for new adventures.
Beside her vagabond nature Petra is a passionate Jazz and musical admirer, loves doing outdoor sports and diving. Her favourite spot on the planet at the moment is a small fishing village El Nido on the western Philippine island Palawan.
