Mikael Hansson, who was appointed CEO of International Youth Hostel Federation, just over a year ago, has visited Slovenia on April 14th, accompanied by the regional development coordinator. During his stay he saw the Youth Hostel Park (the holder of four blue triangles) in Ljubljana and the best Slovenian hostel at current Youth Hostel Bledec (the holder of five blue triangles). The Hostelling International Slovenia presented its cooperation with the Slovene national tourist organization to Mr. Hansson. This coordination means 
that this year, for the first time, all Slovene hostels will be marked on the map of Slovenia as a part of the new Next Exit publication. Also they presented him with future plans of the HIS and problems the HIS is facing. Mikael Hansson gave us praise at the end of his stay, for he has seen Slovenia to be a neat, clean and safe country with well organized road infrastructure.
