Spring break for groups in Slovenia

We can also add 45 Youth Hostels to the natural richness of Slovenia, among which we will present the ones from Slovenian cities of – Maribor, where the entire group can sleep over in a new high class hostel Pekarna in the centre of youth happening. We’d also like to present the hostel in the city of Celje with its youth centre as well as the hostel of Slovenj Gradec, just by the entrance to the heart of town. All three hostels are part of a youth center and offer, along with great boarding opportunities, also modern and well equipped rooms. The hostel Proteus, which is part of the dormitory of Postojna, is proud of its great kitchen and is just a good walk away from the biggest tourist attraction of Slovenia – the Postojna cave! Similarly to Postojna, Radenci also offer a hostel with almost limitless capacities and its own kitchen, being placed in the best known spa resort town in Slovenia. Last, but not the least, for this month, is the hostel with the sounds and smells of the Mediterranean in Debeli Rtič, that can host groups of up to 600 people and offers from the simplest accommodations to rooms with three hotel stars. The hostel also features its own beach and an indoor swimming pool with heated sea water.

At the hostel Slovenj Gradec we offer accommodation in modern equipped rooms, single, double and four-bed rooms and four suites, which offer stay for three, four or eight people. Total number of beds is 59. All rooms and apartments are equipped with their own bathrooms and toilets, one apartment is adapted for disabled guests. Guests can also be given to a common kitchen where you can prepare your meal. Next to the kitchen is a laundry room, where guests can wash, dry and iron their clothes.

Hostel Pekarna is completely renovated and of modern design. It offers accommodation in seven four-bedded rooms with bathrooms, accessible across the long living room/hall for socializing, lazing around and getting to the wooden terrace. The upper level is made into a residential centre. Guests can choose between modern apartments or flats with their own kitchenette and bathroom. Altogether the hostel offers 61 beds. In order to help you explore Maribor and its sights, they offer the rental of a bicycle.

There are 60 rooms in the hostel Radenci. Most of them are double rooms, some of them are triple rooms. There are collective bathrooms for 4 or 6 rooms. The guests can use: fitness, outdoor playground, multimedia classrooms for big or small groups and a multipurpose hall with the stage for cultural events, seminars, special meals and other meetings. We can organize a rent of the sport hall for recreation (near school), organize rafting on Mura river, swimming in the Health Resort Radenci. Besides the nice rooms the guests can have the breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner. We can also accept and accommodate big groups (100 people).

Hostel Celje is located in a recently refurbished historical building. The youth hostel has 11 rooms, each one theme-decorated by a group of artists to take you into a parallel universe of myths and legends from Celje’s history. The hostel is part of the youth centre. It also contains a café, conference hall, and numerous opportunities for outdoor sports and games. Totally hostel offers 42 beds in 11 rooms. There are five theme-decorated double rooms and two single rooms in the upper floor. Each room is uniquely designed and has its own story.

Boarding is possible in 43 nice rooms with bathrooms (shower, toilet, hairdryer). Most rooms have balconies with a view of the sea or the vineyards. There are also group rooms (96 rooms with 4, 12, 14, 15 beds) that share bathrooms, kitchenette and a common room with a TV and a lot of space for socializing. The Hostel Debeli rtič also has access for wheelchairs. You don’t need to worry about linen or tower, for rooms already include them. Guests can also use the laundry with a drier.

Hostel Proteus is located in the centre of Postojna. Near the hostel park there is a town sports park with a stadium and playgrounds for tennis, basketball, handball, football, an athletic track and children`s playground. Hostel Proteus has 120 beds. Rooms are three and four bedded with common sanitary facilities to share. In July and August there are additional 100 beds. Guests can also be offered breakfast if they wish. From Monday to Friday it is always possible to order full board (by prior arrangement also at weekends). In the hall of hostel there is free internet access and guests can also use a small kitchen for making hot drinks and meals.
