The wake of spring is truly magnificent in the Triglav National park, where you’ll be surrounded by the charms of nature. Here you can find crystal clear waters, deep canyons, pristine forests, vivid alpine flowers and incredible animals.
Hostel pod Voglom, the only one located within the national park, allows you to experience various sporting/adrenalin activities within their agency
Pac Sport. Boredom is not an option with them. After pristine nature, we’d also like to invite you to the national capital – Ljubljana – which is only a few kilometres away and will show all its charm under the sunlight of spring days. Sitting by the river Ljubljanica and sipping coffee in pleasant company will turn into a night full of fun and joy and you might even forget about sleep. Still, it’s a good idea to book a bed at
Hostel Ljubljana, which will accept you no matter what time of day or night (or anytime in between) you’d come in. And from the city centre you might want to head down to the coast. Along the way you can stop and visit the cave Postojnska jama, which is the No. 1 tourist attraction of Slovenia. Your group will love it, you can be sure of that. And, with the
HI membership card you can even get a discount getting the entrance tickets. You’ll also do your valet a favour by booking in at
Hostel Proteus, which is a trendy hostel located in the town of Postojna and will surprise you with its equipment and warm and friendly staff. The Karst caves will give you a cool experience, but the coast will greet you warmly, warming your heart at the very site of the Adriatic Sea. Reaching the coast you can easily find your way to Ms Majda and her little piece of paradice called
Hostel Alieti. The feeling of warmth in the very centre of the town of Izola and the fresh smell of beagles in the morning will convince the group to stay for yet another day :). But if you don’t feel like following the line we drew out and would like to explore other parts of Slovenia, we can always suggest other hostels, such as the
Hostel Marenberg, which is located in Radlje ob Dravi and is a perfect starting point to cycling and hiking trips, with warm meals you can enjoy in their restaurant. On the other hand there’s also the comfortable
Hostel Krško, where they’ll take good care of you if you want to explore the places near Croatian border or are on the way towards Zagreb. Both can offer many places for group activities including class rooms, stages and all sorts of equipment.
