We announce that today, 22.8.2008, we festively opened the categorically signed Youth Hostel Uni-Hotel in Maribor. The mayor, Franc Kangler, has additionally emphasized the meaning of youth tourism in the University city of Maribor.
Youth Hostel Uni-Hotel is placed into the highest category of five blue triangles, which presents a special honour for acknowledgement for the care of young travellers. Nevertheless that this is the highest category to achieve, the Manager of Terme Maribor emphasized, that they will try hard to offer even more to every traveller who visits them.
Igor Jurišič, Slovenia's President of the Traveller Society put to notice, that Slovenia is, after the categorization, placed among those countries, which want to inform travellers about what they can expect from the accomodation. Traveller Society of Slovenia is among the pioneers in the international IYHF chain, which has an organized catergorization. Similarly, they have done it in France and Scotland.
