Summer in the Hostel pod Voglom and Pac Sports outdoor agency
It is now Midsummer in Bohinj and the activities in PAC Sports and Hostel pod Voglom are in a full swing.
The 1st floor rooms of our Annex building have been repainted as a project in cooperation with Art College of Ljubljana. Each room has a theme, corresponding to 4 different Slovene landscapes. The paintings of remote and green Soča valley, dry and windy Karst region, Bohinj area and the Southern hills of Dolenjska make a unique interior for the rooms.
Bohinj is a cheerful environment during the summer with colourful events happening almost every day. They include traditional rural wedding and wedding feast, evenings of folk dances, music and alpine film festivals and BoFejst - a programme designed especially for children. The climax of them all is the Traditional Bohinj Night with fireworks, candles on the lake and music until early morning. When the summer comes to an end, the local shepherds celebrate it with the famous Cow's Ball.
There is nothing better than freshening up in the water after a long, sunny day, so we offer a variety of exciting opportunities for spending the day. It can be a relaxing paddle on the lake with a canoe, a lively raft trip down the river or even an unforgettable adrenaline adventure in the gorges where we take you canyoning.
You can brave the heights on the high ropes course, where overcoming different obstacles 8m off the ground offers unconventional way of entertainment. If you wish to go even higher, paragliding with one of our experienced pilots could be a perfect choice for you. It is a serene way of taking in the stunning views of the Bohinj Lake and the surrounding mountains.
Numerous paths in the area give you the opportunity to discover the more remote parts of the Triglav National Park, which you can explore by bike or on foot.
