Visit beautiful city of Velenje in Šaleška Valley in winter. City of Velenje is the 5th biggest Slovenian city with over than 30.000 habitants. It has many turist attractions like Velenje Lakes where you can ice-scate in winter and it is also a great hiking area. Near the Šaleška Valley is Savinjska Valley with Golte ski resort, just a few km from Velenje. There you can enjoy in many different winter activities: skiing, hiking, sledding,… You can take a sightseeing tour and see the main city attraction: Tito's Squere with the biggest Tito's statue on the world, Velenje Castle, The Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia.
