Enjoying the seaside rocks

Could you tell us who you are and introduce yourselves in a few words?

Danijela: I'm Danijela Mošič from Maribor and I'm a volunteer at Hostelling International Slovenia.

Tanja: My name is Tanja Zavec Kos, coming from Maribor and I am also a volunteer at Hostelling International Slovenia.

Barbara: I am Barbara Jazbinšek, also from Maribor. I am a volunteer at Hostelling International Slovenia as well.

What is the main reason that you're volunteering at Hostelling International Slovenia and how did you hear about it?

Danijela: I decided to be a volunteer here because I like to help. We are a great team; we work together and have a great time doing that. I found out about it from a friend.

Tanja: I was told by a friend about volunteering at Hostelling International Slovenia, so I decided to become a part of a successful team. I like to help.

Barbara: I learned about the organization through my aunt, who shared some organization's flyers. The reason is because I really like to help and spend my time productively.

What are the most beautiful memories of your past trips and why?

Barbara: the most beautiful one I cherish is probably the morning view of the sea from the tent and the sound of droplets of rain falling on the tent.

Tanja: I love the sea very much, so I visit it with my family several times a year.

Danijela: I love spending time with my family by the seaside as well. I simply adore the sea.

The most delicious food you've tried so far in Slovenia or abroad?

Tanja: at home and abroad you're asking, that would be salad prepared in all different ways possible.

Danijela: I ate the best pizza at the seaside, it's nothing like at home.

Barbara: the most delicious for me was the gilt-head bream which is a type of fish.

I think everyone has their favourite destination, a place they really want to visit. What is your favourite destination?

Tanja: I'm very excited about going on a cruise.

Barbara: My greatest wish is to go to Thailand where monkeys simply walk among people and it isn’t too crowded. And to see Nemo in the underwater world. Trying out the local food, too, without a doubt – all kinds of fresh exotic fruit and pad thai.

Danijela: My heart wants to see the Maldives and soon I’ll be having a cup of coffee at the Eiffel Tower.

Without hesitation, the girls agreed for the interview, too. They are always ready to jump in and help when needed and whenever they can. You can just feel their spirit and they have a good energy about them, which immediately pulls you right in. In short, they're amazing girls. Perhaps they'll make a round trip together and visit all those destinations (chosen by their hearts), one after another. Hopefully, they’ll be up for a talk when they get back.
