The city of Celje
Celje is the third biggest city in Slovenia and a perfectly positioned historical pearl of central Europe. It's a dynamic city with active culture, sport, fairy and commercial offers. It's a great starting point for exploration of nearby and far off attractions of Slovenia, the closest notable two are the castle of Celje and Lake Šmartinsko jezero. Visit Celje and feel right at home!
In the center of the historic town, just a stone’s throw away from the railroad and bus station, stands the Youth Hostel Celje - MCC Hostel. It’s an ecologically designed Youth Hostel that, by implementing sustainable resources, perfectly follows the tradition of town’s heritage. It has 11 rooms which accommodate up to 42 people on two floors. 30 beds are in the shared rooms for 6-8 people, with 5 twin bed rooms and 2 single rooms for more demanding travelers, offering more comfort and privacy. All the smaller rooms have their own bathrooms, but the toilets are shared. The hostel offers two seminar rooms, a hall, a lounge with a kitchenette, laundry, winter garden, free WiFi, computer corner, bicycle rental and there’s a variety of restaurants and snack bars nearby. 
There are also additional activities organized by the Youth center Celje, with annual events in the atrium under the chestnuts as well as sporting events, cultural activities or thematic hikes. You are also welcom to visit the MCC Port Cafe.
