YHA are welcoming some posh new arrivals this year – camping pods, premium bell tents and tipis are landing outside many of our hostels! If you enjoy camping but don’t want to leave your home comforts behind, these comfortable alternatives are for you.
Sleep under the stars with Camping Pods
For a great view of the stars and a cosy night’s sleep, you can’t beat our new camping pods at
YHA Brecon Beacons and
YHA New Forest. With heating inside and a decking area outside, they add a touch of luxury to your adventure. If you’ve stayed in our pods before, you’ll know they’re like domed wooden tents and keep the elements out. Our new Large Pod Plus models have a double futon and two single beds, so you can leave your camping mat and sleeping bag at home.
Get that festival feeling with Premium Bell Tents
Our festival-inspired premium bell tents offer a spacious environment to relax in. We introduced bell tents over summer last year, but these new models boast a wood-burner to keep you cosy. They sleep four and are kitted out with a double bed, two single beds and bedding. You’ll also find eco-friendly lighting and stylish bohemian furniture. You can book YHA’s premium bells tents now at

Have an outdoor adventure with Lakeland Tipis
Want something a bit quirkier? Between Easter and October, two Lake District sites will also become home to YHA’s lovely new tipis! The tipis include bedding, a coffee chest and an altar fireplace. They sleep up to four people on mattresses so they’re great for families. You’ll also find beanbags and lighting – perfect for fun Lakeland adventures. Book at
