Blues festival Postojnska jama is starting for the ninth consecutive year. This year the Thursday concerts in the castle near Postoja Cave will have seven famous names of world-wide blues scene. The festival that gathered its own crowds over the years is returning and inviting them to Postojna again, to enjoy in the music, which is not all too frequent in Slovenia. The organizers are planning different kinds of evenings in the Cave castle that other concert organizers do.

You can stay at the Youth Hostel Proteus, in the centre of Postojna. It is only 500m from the central bus station and 1500m from the railroad station. The cave is 800m away and the Castel Predjamski grad 15km away and the nearest local bus station is only 50m away. There are many local restaurants nearby and only 300m away is the shopping mall with many shops to choose from. Near the park there is a sport park with basketball courts, handball and football, also tennis, field track and a children playground.
