Swiss Youth Hostels is opening Switzerland's first sports and wellness Youth Hostel in June 2014! In the car-free glacier village of
Saas-Fee at an altitude of 1,800 metres, surrounded by 13 four-thousand metre peaks, we offer your groups the perfect environment and atmosphere for training camps, club excursions and wellness weekends.
New hostel awaits you with:
• a cuisine oriented to sportspeople and their needs and wishes from breakfast until the evening meal
• a wellness and fitness area covering 778m2
• a 25m indoor swimming pool with whirlpool
• fitness checks, massages and physiotherapy
• saunas
• a self-contained boot/ski room with dehumidification
• a seminar room
• a bar/lounge area and day room with TV
• free WiFi
• a mixture of double and four-bed rooms with shower/WC and six-bed rooms with wash basin and showers on each floor – 168 beds in total
At an altitude of up to 3,500 metres, the Allalin Glacier is one of the highest and most reliable winter sports areas in the Alps and the many outstanding slopes are open from July to April (summer training). 21 cableways (11 in summer), a freestyle park and many other sports activities await you. And what's more: you can get from this Youth Hostel to the cable car valley station in just 4 minutes on foot.
