New Youth Hostel in Singapore

Each newly refurbished DORMITORY ROOM consists of 3 single divan beds, wardrobe, fridge, dressing table and mirror. Each bed comes equipped with a secure cabinet for safekeeping of personal belongings, a reading light, an international power socket, a drinking cup and saucer. A pull-out tray will also be provided for the convenience of using a laptop or to pen a postcard. Each dormitory room also comes with an en suite bathroom; a UNIQUE feature not found in other dormitories. A coin operated launderette is provided in the vicinity too.

For those who are visiting the sunny island of Singapore in a group of 4 or with family members, do consider our FAMILY ROOM which comes with two queen-size divan beds. Equipped with facilities comparable to a hotel guestroom, such as a TV and DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom. There are only 10 units of Family Room available, hence do plan ahead and book early, especially during the weekends and festive periods. 

Alternatively, guests can chill out at the modern lounge to read or to interact with fellow travellers. In the lounge, free Internet access and six personal computers are made available for the guests to keep in touch with their family and friends, all of this over a hot cup of coffee/ tea made with our complimentary coffee and tea making facilities!

A wide variety of leisure and entertainment facilities is also a stone’s throw away from the resort. Within Downtown East guests can, do a few laps at the 25m lap pool, enjoy themselves in Wild Wild Wet (Singapore’s mega water theme park), eXplorerkid (one of Singapore’s largest indoor children’s playground), a bowling centre, a cinema and other exciting attractions. Enjoy nature walks or cycling throughout neighbouring Pasir Ris Park and Pasir Ris Beach. Guests will also be spoilt for choice with over 80 food & beverage outlets, ranging from international buffets to local Asian cuisines and international fast food chains. A supermarket, 24-hour convenience stores and a good range of retail outlets are also available for all your shopping needs.

Costa Sands Resort (Downtown East), Singapore, is just a 10-minute car ride from Changi International Airport or 20 minutes via local train (SMRT). To get to the city centre, simply hop onto our free shuttle bus to the nearest train station (Pasir Ris) and you will find yourself in the middle of Singapore’s famed Orchard Road or the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore’s luxury hotel resort and casino, within 35 minutes.
