How would it be to wake up in the morning as the lord of a castle? That is possible in Germany. Many of the Youth Hostels are located in castles and offer a real back to the roots “middle-age-feeling”.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber is the epitome of an intact middle age city. Located at the centre is the Youth Hostel in two 500 year old buildings. It was cautious reconstructed and offers a modern standard. You can reach all sights by feet in a few minutes.
