Your accomodation for skiing at Postalm or Gaissau-Hintersee is the Youth Hostel St. Gilgen at the famous lake Wolfgangsee. Besides the spectacular scenery and the pretty village, St. Gilgen’s visitors also appreciate the location close to Salzburg. 140 km of varied runs and 65 modern lifts await skiers and snowboarders in the Dachstein-West-Region. With ist smooth and wide mountain rides it’s also ideal for skilled skiers. The skibus takes you back to Bad Ischl, a picturesque town full of history and culture, which has a close connection to the Habsburger dynasty. So maybe you take some time to visit the emperor’s villa where empress Sisi and emperor Franz Joseph spent their summer holidays. Bad Ischl is also well known as a spa resort. Our hostels St. Gilgen and Bad Ischl have one to four-bedded rooms, all with ensuite shower and toilet and offer buffet breakfast as well as half- and full-board. Hostel facilities include TV, Internet, table tennis, table soccer and many common rooms. At the youth hostel St. Gilgen you can also relax in the sauna in the evening.  Prices per person and night start from € 18,- including breakfast.
