Luxembourg’s traditional Christmas market is held on the Place d’Armes and transforms the pedestrian centre of the city into a magical and romantic wonderland. Anything from Stollen to French Christmas log, as well as handcrafted candles, heart-shaped gingerbread, toys, Christmas tree decorations, greeting cards and many charming gift ideas can be found in the market stalls. You shouldn’t miss the many tasty dishes accompanied by the traditional mulled wine (“Glühwein”).
New Year’s Eve dinner is at 28,20 € for adults and 9,40 € for children up to 12 years. The dinner includes an appetizer, a buffet and at midnight a traditional luxembourgish dish, lentil soup with sausages.
