Family Oberhauser from Germany is a regular guest in the Youth Hostels in Austria. “We really like the beautiful landscape with all the lakes”, Ingo Oberhauser raves, “and especially we grew fond of the Hostel with the nice atmosphere.” The family of five regularly visits the Hostels in St. Gilgen, Mondsee and Bad Ischl – no matter if it is summer or winter.
“We know that Ingo and Pamela love to ski and big ski resorts are too expensive and overwhelming with three children, we recommended the Postalm near St. Gilgen, Upper Austria”, says Sabine Kempinger CEO of the Upper Austrian Youth Hostel Association (OOEJHV). With its 20 kilometers of ski trails, the area is perfect for families. Besides skiing and snowboarding, there is more action at the Postalm: snow bikes, snow tubes and other different snow toys are available. Furthermore, the ski resort is ideal for everybody interested in sledging, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing.
The OOEJHV listened to their guests wishes and created an all-in-one package. It includes everything the heart of parents and children desire. Amelie Oberhauser (11 years old), one of the daughters of Ingo and Pamela, is sure “that we will experience our winter magic with all the glittery snow this upcoming holiday!”
