Even in winter, the sun is still pleasantly warm, and it hardly ever rains. It can be a bit windy in the winter months, but the island is green at this time of year and the pleasant temperatures are the best conditions for sightseeing, excursions or hiking. 
 
Malta has a rich culture and history, dating back thousands of years. There are many things to see, such as Neolithic temples, impressive palaces of the Knights of St. John, huge fortifications, museums and grand churches.
